3. Izinhlelo ze-AMI ne-AMR:

Izinhlelo ze-Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) kanye ne-Automated Meter Reading (AMR) zibalulekile emandleni okuxhumana kwamamitha amanzi e-ultrasonic. Izinhlelo ze-AMI zinikeza ukuxhumana okubili phakathi kwemitha kanye nenkampani yosizo, okuvumela ukushintshaniswa kwedatha ngesikhathi sangempela kanye nokulawula kude kwemitha. Izinhlelo ze-AMR, ngakolunye uhlangothi, zivumela ukuxhumana okuhamba ngendlela eyodwa, lapho imitha ithumela idatha enkampanini yosizo ngezikhathi ezithile. 4. Ukuxhumana kweselula kanye ne-LPWAN:
